Our Story
Why we built Oasis POS: Ending the vendor blame game.
Back in 2003, we opened our doors as Oasis India IT Store Pvt. Ltd. on Anna Salai (Mount Road), Chennai. For over two decades, we supplied computer hardware, point-of-sale peripherals, thermal printers, barcode scanners, and IT infrastructure to thousands of retailers, supermarkets, textile showrooms, and restaurants across Tamil Nadu.
Over the years, we saw shop owners repeatedly face the same frustrating problem: the vendor blame game. When a billing counter halted on a busy Saturday evening, the software company blamed the thermal printer driver, while the printer technician blamed the software.
We built Oasis POS and Oasis Table to solve this permanently. By providing high-speed billing software bundled with tested, pre-configured counter hardware under one roof, we give business owners a single, accountable partner with on-site Chennai setup and direct WhatsApp support in Tamil and English.
